How many pictures will we receive?
It depends on your package. Some packages will have a minimum of 25, and others have a minimum of 30. You can check this underneath what package you've booked. There is also an option to purchase extra images if you wish.
How should we dress for our session?
I will give a recommendation based on where the shoot will be located. When in doubt, neutral colours are always a safe option. I also have incredible recommendations for maternity dress hire!
When's the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Most newborn shoots are done within the first 1-2 weeks. This is because babies are typically more sleepy and easier to pose after a good feed, however I can do newborn shoots up until 10 weeks old.
When should I have my maternity shoot?
I suggest between 32-36 weeks for a maternity shoot, mainly because the belly size is nice and big by this point. Ultimately it is up to you when you'd like it done. If you want to do it at 25 weeks, go for it!
What is the best time for a photoshoot?
My favourite time to shoot is golden hour (both sunrise and sunset) because the light is soft, golden and creates beautiful tones in images. If you are wanting a shoot earlier during the day, just keep in mind that the sun is going to be bright, so your images will be bright as well.
Are there any hidden costs?
Absolutely not! All packages are fully inclusive. There is the option to purchase additional images or prints if you wish.
What if I don't know how to pose?
That's totally fine! I will be navigating you on some poses, but the more comfortable you feel the better the photos (which is why I aim for a lot of candid ones!)
I've never had a photoshoot before, is that okay?
Absolutely! It's so exciting to have your first photoshoot, and I will be there to help every step of the way so you feel the most comfortable.
How far in advance should I book?
Ideally the more time the better, however even if you have something you'd like to capture and its coming up soon, I'm more than happy to try and accommodate to fit you in where I can!
